While it isn’t technically sand, our sensory salt can be used in many of the same ways as sensory sand for kids. It is a wonderful sensory sand alternative for scooping, pouring, sprinkling, mark making and creating small world play scenes.

Let little hands explore the flowing texture as they scoop, pour and transfer the salt, or sprinkle it over their hands and feel it run through their fingers. These activities encourage fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and pre-writing skills through hands on sensory exploration.

Our sensory salt is made for kids’ potion play! 
Add a small sprinkle to your potion for a burst of colour and texture, or go all out and add generous handfuls to a large sensory potion tray. As your child stirs the salt around the potion water, the colour will disperse and the salt will disolve.
